HELLO, I’M JOANNA!

 I’m a mother, partner, dreamer and self taught photographer with over ten years of experience. I create work rooted in honesty - images shaped by storytelling, connection and intention. I live on 20 acres with my family, three dogs, and chickens. I’m inspired by natural light, good music, quiet mornings, people showing up just as they are, simplicity, delicate fabrics, and trusting your own instincts - even when it means stepping outside the lines. My aim is to create photographs that feel timeless, grounding, and deeply personal.

You’ll usually find me laying on the floor with my kids and dogs, outside noticing the small things, drinking matcha, making things with my hands, asking questions, singing in the car, crying over animals that need homes, eating pasta, baking imperfectly, thrift shopping, or following a new creative curiosity wherever it leads.

Based in Orillia, Ontario, Canada and happy to travel throughout surrounding areas.
